Charles H. Fisher, 68 years of age, former motion picture theater manager here, died suddenly at his home 625 North Centre Street at 6:30 o'clock last night, from an attack of the heart. Mr. Fisher was stricken at the Knights of Columbus home, North Mechanic Street, yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock and was assisted to his home. At different times, Mr Fisher was proprietor of the Liberty, the Belvedere and the New Theaters here, but recently retired. He was a member of Cumberland Council No 586 Knights of Columbus and Chief Justice Taney Assembly, Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of St. Patrick's Holy Name Society. Mr Fisher is survived by three daughters and one son: Misses Lillian, Mabel and Frances and Charles E. Fisher. He also leaves two brothers, Frank L. Fisher, motion picture theater manager and John Fisher and one sister, Mrs. Lucy Oglebay. The family of Mr. Fisher request that floral tributes be omitted.
