Funeral services for Esther Ruth Stubblefield, 86, of Rosenberg, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2004, at First Baptist Church, Rosenberg. Dr. Donnie Melton will officiate the services. Internment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 11, 2004, in the State Room of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
Ruth was born on May 2, 1918 in La Grange to O.H. and Elizabeth Brandstetter Ehrlich. She worked at The Wardrobe for many years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Rosenberg. She passed away July 8, 2004 in Richmond.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harley Stubblefield, and daughter, Joy Goree.
She is survived by daughter, Karen Stewart and her husband, Terry, of Alpine; sons, Harley Stubblefield Jr. and his wife, Bonnie, of Jacksonville, FL, Thomas Stubblefield and his wife, Dorothy, of Richmond; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
