Calvin J. Carlton, 82, of Mauldin, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 15, 2014, at his home.
He is the son of the late Carl Duke and Beulah Jackson Carlton and was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doris Carlton.
He was retired from Kemet Electronics and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by daughters, Linda Gault, Judy Reeves, Gail Craig and Jennifer Day; sons, Bobby Carlton and Steve Carlton; sister, Ellen Griffith; nephew, Billy Griffith; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at Cannon-Jones Chapel, 603 W. Curtis St., Simpsonville, SC 29681. He will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of Judy Reeves, 2110 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
