He had a deeper passion in educating the firefighters to being their best. And when he went home, he went to the biggest love of his life, his wife, Kenna, and daughter, Teal, and kept in touch with his son, Eric. He also loved sports and watching his daughter, Teal Marie play basketball. Chief Longerbeam was a proud man and even prouder when he talked about his family that he deeply loved and will always be in their hearts. The Longerbeams lost a husband and a father, while CAVHCS lost a valuable member who will be truly missed, but will always remain in all our hearts.
