Elbertus Hubbard "Bert" White was born 30 July 1909 in Mabel, MN, the third of three children born to J.C. White (1876-1947) and Amy Tollefson White (1880-1975). He was first married to Delores A. Allen (1906-1994) on 1 January 1933 in Clay County, MN. They were presumably divorced within a year or so. He was then married to Edna Bernice Johnson (1908-1977) on 8 January 1935 in Fillmore County, MN. They had two sons, John (b.1940) and Charles (b.1945). He was a banker by profession. He died on 18 May 1998 in Mabel, MN at the age of 88, and was interred at Newburg Methodist Church Cemetery.
