She was a cook by trade. She was preceded in death by a husband, James Floyd Alexander, sisters, Pauline Richardson, and Thelma Bryson. She is survived by a daughter, Marlene Capps, brothers, Clay, Horace, Harold Young, and Ronnie Hughes, sisters, Betty Finley, Velma Neal, grandchildren, Jason & Brandon Shook, great-grandchild, Cassidy Shook. Services will be held 11:00am Thursday, March 27th, 2014 at the Brown-Oglesby Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenny Owen officiating with burial to follow in Heritage Memorial Gardens. The family wll receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00am prior to the service. The family will be at their respective homes. Brown-Oglesby Funeral Home is assisting the family.
