DEATH CLAIMS J. M. HENDRIX
Traveling Man of Showers Factory for 40 Years, Died Today

James M. Hendrix, 81-years-old and for forty years a traveling salesman for the Showers Bros. Furniture factory of this city, died at five o'clock this morning of pneumonia at his home in Louisivlle. The body will be brought here at 11:20 tomorrow and will be taken from the train to Rose Hill Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Sanford Teter, Edward Showers, Charles, John and Will Sears and Joseph M. Smith.

Mr. Hendricks (sic) and family left Bloomington about fifteen years ago, moving from this city to Indianapolis. While there, the Misses Laura and Nellie Hendrix taught in the Indianapolis schools. Miss Laura died about three months ago and was buried here. The widow and daughter, Nellie survive Mr. Hendrix. Also the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. W. N. Showers, this city; Mrs. Mattie Parks, Hutchinson, Kas.; Mrs. Fannie Cooper, Putnamville; Mrs. Mollie Waldron, Terre Haute; and George Hendrix, Indianapolis.
