Stephen (Steve) A. Milazzo age 44, of Binghamton, died unexpectedly on Saturday morning, April 5, 2014.

He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Andrew(Gil)and Marvel Barney; his paternal grandparents, Frank and Josephine (Jo) Milazzo; a daughter, Gabrielle (Gabby) Kocijanski in 2010; and a very special aunt, Esther (Jo) Quon.

Surviving are his loving parents, Angelo (Ang) and June (Sayer) Milazzo of Johnson City; sons, Nick and Ryan Milazzo of Endicott; his brother, David (Dave) Milazzo of Richmond, VA. All of whom he loved dearly. Also, surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins in NY, PA, and CA. Also his young friend, Zach Sheriff (Nick and Ryan's brother).

Steve loved the Yankees from an early age and remained a loyal supporter during their good and bad seasons.

Over the years, Steve worked at a number of local restaurants where he was known for his hard work ethic and ability to interact well with staff as well with clientele.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the Dibble family for their years of kindness to Steve as well as Mike Tulsey, Steve's most recent employer, for his support.

MOST OF ALL, we thank God for sharing Steve with us.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday 6-8pm at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street, Binghamton. Funeral will be on Thursday at 10am at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Trozzi, pastor of Christian Apostolic Church of Endicott, officiating.

Burial will be at Floral Park Cemetery, Johnson City, NY.

In addition, the family wants to express their sincere thanks to the staff of the local agencies who tried to help Steve through his struggle. In view of that, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Steve's memory to Fairview Recovery, Inc., Salvation Army, Rescue Mission, Volunteers of America or YMCA, all of Binghamton.
