THI REGISTER-NEWS - MT. VFRNON. ILLINOIS THURSDAY, JANUARY 25, 1962 Detailed Jennie Collins Dies At Age 75; Rites Saturday Mrs. Jennie W. Collins of 916 Gilbert died at 5:20 a. m. today at Jefferson Memorial Hospital at the age of 75 years, six months and 24 days. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Saturday at the 15th Street Church of God, of which she was a member, with the Rev. Morrison J. Bundy officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery. The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel where friends may call after 4:00 p. m. Friday. At noon, Saturday, the body will be taken to the church to iie in state until the funeral hour. Mrs. Collins was born July 1, 1886, in Jefferson county, the daghter of Henry and Henrietta (Karch) Willmore. She is survived by three sons, John and Ervin Collins of this city, and Paul Collins of St. Louis; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Strong Davis of St. Louis: three sisters, Mrs. Millie Shields of Tulare, Calif., Mrs. Anna Mae Harris of Dixon, and Mrs. Katherine Auguston of Franklin Grove, 111.; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, June Collins.
