Beatrice W. Cook, 83, of Kosciusko, died Tuesday, May 6, 2014, in the Madison County Nursing Home.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 10, from 12-2 p.m. with services at 2 p.m. in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel and burial in the Parkway Cemetery.

Rev. Byrd Hillman will officiate.

She was a member of the Williamsville United Methodist Church and a volunteer for the American Legion.

Her survivors include son, Melvin Cook of Kosciusko; daughters, Mary Ann (David) Stotts of Madison and Nelvia (David) Agnew of Jonesboro, Ark.; grandchildren, Kim Stotts Burkett, Karen Stotts Tisdale, Keri Nicole Stotts, Zoe Cook, Zeb Cook Watkins, Richard Easley, Daniel Easley, James Agnew and John Agnew; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Cook; parents, Melvin and Laura Whittington; daughter, Betty Jo Easley; grandson, William Wade Easley; and two sisters, Dorothy Christine Celwell and Edna Earl Allen.

Pallbearers are Tommy Allen, Daniel Easley, Richard Easley, Keith Burkett, Zeb Cook, and Sam Bell. Honorary pallbearer is John Robert Hillman.
