Mr. David Madison Bailey, 90, of LaGrange, GA passed away at LaGrange Nursing and Rehab on Friday, 16 May 2014.
Mr. Bailey was born 20 Apr 1924 in LaGrange, GA, son of late George Embry and Annie Bell Bailey. He attended the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, and was a member of the Elm City Masonic Lodge. Mr. Bailey retired after 30 years as the maintenance man for the Callaway Family Home.
Survivors, include his sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn and Phyllis Bailey and Wayne and Beth Bailey, all of LaGrange, grandchildren, Krista Sanders, Marty Bailey, Rob Bailey, Lynn Bennett, Lisa Drake, 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, a sister Francis Neese of LaGrange.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie T. Bailey.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, 19 May 2014 at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Chapel with Rev David Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, from 6 to 8 p.m.
