She was a retired employee of Swartz-Kline Co. in Dover and a member of the Dover United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Herbert Thorpe and William Haugh; and one brother, Robert Pittman.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Patterson (Passed Aug.4,1989); one daughter, Patricia Hanenkrat; two grand-daughters, Kelly Hanenkrat and Robin Kochis; and a sister, Martha Flanagan.
Services were held at Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover, and Kelly-Kemp Funeral Home in Bethesda, with Pastor William Hayden officiating.
