Betty Lou Butterfield Romans, 49, passed away August 30, 1996 at her home in Magna, Utah.

Born December 9, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of Ernest J. and Leona Kranwinkle Butterfield. Married Keith Balfour; later divorced. Married Michael Romans, November 11, 1984 in Elko, Nevada. Member of the LDS Church. She was a very caring and giving mother to her children.

Survived by her husband, Michael; children, Ronald Butterfield; Cindy (Rudy) Salinas; Brian (Karen) Balfour; and Krystal Balfour; 15 grandchildren; sisters, Althea (Willard) Butcher; Gloria (Cliff) Solt; Dorlene (Val) Derbidge; Sharon (Kimball) Rigby; and Lynda (Mike) Burkholder; brother, Robert Butterfield; many nieces, nephews and friends; and her dog, Missy.

Preceded in death by her parents; son, John; brother, Ernest.

Special thanks to home health care nurses, Bobbi and Paula.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, 12 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood Road, where friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the family.
