MRS MARY CATHERINE MURRAY

DELPHOS, JUNE 8 - Mrs. Mary Catherine Murray, 86, died at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. J. M. Johnson, Frankfort, Indiana

Born in Delphos, June 25,1865, she had been ill five years. She married W. H. Murray, who preceded her in death, on June 11, 1943. She was a member of Delphos Presbyterian church, a member of the Oxford class of the Methodist church in Frankfort and a member of the Sons of Veterans auxiliary in Frankfort.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. L. S. Anderson, Norwalk, Mrs. S. F. Schwinnen, Delphos, Mrs. J. M. Johnson, Frankfort; a foster son, Leonard Canon, Akron; one stepson, John Murray, Coldwater, Michigan; two step daughters, Mrs. J. V. DeWeese, and Mrs. Donna Schmelzer, both of Delphos; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Goodwin funeral home in Frankfort. The body will be brought to Harter and Son funeral home Friday noon and services will be held there at 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
