Caron Ann Carrell, 71, Martinsville, passed from this life peacefully and in the comfort of her own home on Thursday, May 15, 2014. She was born January 28, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Harry David and Geneva Irene (Tipps) Martin.

Mrs. Carrell received her masters' degree in occupational therapy at the University of Indianapolis and later completed Christian Leadership studies at Franklin College. She was a retired Occupational Therapist, working for the MSD of Martinsville and as a private contractor. Caron was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mooresville and the Indiana Occupational Therapist Association. She had a love for music, especially gospel music and she formerly sang with the Eli Lilly Choir.

She leaves behind many loving family and friends including her husband, Larry "Gene" Carrell of Martinsville, whom she married December 21st, 1990; one daughter, Virginia L. (husband, Jason) Blosser of Cumberland, IN; four sons, Thomas Matthew Argyros of Arizona; Robert Benjamin (wife, Sharon) Carrell of Cumberland, IN; Andrew Tyrone (wife, Cindy) Petty of Jonesboro, TN and John David (wife, Brittany) Petty of Fort Lewis, WA and fourteen grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visit from 5:30 pm -6:30 pm on Tuesday, May 20th, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, 680 N. Indiana St., Mooresville, Indiana. Rev. Guy Lancour will officiate at a memorial service celebrating Caron's life beginning at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, May 20th at the church.
