Anna Mae Cannon died Monday, October 28, 2019. She was born August 22, 1920 at the family farm on the Marshyhope Creek near Adamsville. Anna Mae was the daughter of the late Edgar Wroten and Henrietta Harmoning Wroten. She was predeceased by her husband of 71 years, Lawrence "Jake" Cannon and brother Lyman Wroten.

Anna Mae attended a one room elementary school at Adamsville for 6 years and completed her education by graduating from Greenwood High School in 1938. She enjoyed gardening, crabbing, reading, traveling with Jake near and far and spending time with her family.

Anna Mae is survived by sons Dennis Cannon (Mary Beth) of Dover and Ronald Cannon (Joanne) of Bridgeville. Grandchildren Jill Brown (Todd) Poolesville, MD, Dennis Cannon, Jr (Kelly) Taipei, Taiwan, Natalie Freeman (Andy) Vienna, VA, and Paige MacGregor (Shaun) Medford, NJ. Great-grandchildren Kyle Brown, Cormac Brown, Keith MacGregor, Dennis Cannon, III, Anna Mae Cannon, Judith Cannon, Matthew Freeman and William Freeman.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pm Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Framptom Funeral Home, 16 West Market Street in Greenwood, Delaware. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at St. Johnstown Cemetery in Greenwood, Delaware. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chaplains Chapel, 18875 Atlanta Road, Bridgeville, DE, 19933.
