BOSSIER CITY, LA- Funeral services for Woodrow Parham, 94, will be held 12 noon Monday, April 21, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Scott Schulic. Visitation with the family will be Monday prior to the service from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery.

Woodrow was born on December 12, 1919 and passed away on April 16, 2014. He lived in Shreveport most his life, but was a resident of The Northwest LA War Veterans Home. He served in World War II and was a Purple Heart recipient. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and most of all loved being with family. He was a former member of Sunset Acres Baptist Church and a Deacon at Pine Croft Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by wife, Ann Parham; sisters, Corine Taylor; Mabel Metcalf; brothers, John Paul Parham, Jack Harold Parham; great grandson, Caden Thomas Parham. Left to cherish his memory are sons, Robert Parham and wife, Mary, Thomas Parham and wife, Nancy; daughter, Leah Parham Phillips; grandchildren, Laura Johnson, Brad Parham, Kevin Parham, Melissa Medina, Jason Parham, Jennifer Thomas, Andy Parham; 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons- Jason Parham, Brad Parham, Kevin Parham, Andy Parham and also Vince Medina and Duffy Gandy.

The family wished to thank the NW Louisiana War Veterans Home and Christus Highland Hospice, especially Robyn.
