Elva (Combest) Todd Kretzmeier

Elva Todd Kretzmeier of Harrodsburg, Kentucky died at her home at the age of 88.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Salvisa Baptist Church.

She was survived by her son, James Russell Todd of Tucson, Arizona; her daughter, Juanita Maxine Owen of Lexington, Kentucky; her sister, Anna P. Turpin of Nancy, Kentucky; 2 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Russell Combest and Lula (Tarter) Combest; her first husband, William Goebel Todd and her second husband, Charles Kretzmeier; and one grandchild.

Funeral services were held at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Reverend James E. Hensley officiating.

Batesville - Services for Charles F. Kretzmeier, 84, of 214 N. Depot Street, will be at 1:30 p.m. EST Thursday at the Meyers Funeral Home.

Mr. Kretzmeier, former employee of the Union Furniture Co., died Sunday at James Hagen Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, Kentucky.

He leaves his wife, Elva; one sister, Mrs. Eleanor Tebelman; and several nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Burial will be in United Methodist Church cemetery.
