Joe E. Weber, age 89, a lifetime resident of Golondrinas, NM passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014 in Golondrinas, NM. Joe was born on October 27, 1924 in Golondrinas, NM to the late Fred Weber and Mercedes Madrid. Joe worked as a lineman for Mora-San Miguel Electric Coop for 35 years. A lifetime Catholic, he was a member of St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Mora, NM. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Henry Weber and Frank Weber, wife, Esperanza Avila and son, Charlie Weber. Joe is survived by his children, Julia Medina and his wife, Dan of Las Vegas, NM, Manuel Weber and his wife, Fern of Golondrinas, NM, Mercy Romero and her husband, John N. Of Guadalupita, NM, Charlie J. Weber and his wife, Patsy of Golondrinas, NM and Emily Espinoza and her husband, Danny of Las Vegas, NM, nineteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Aurora Padilla of CA, Mary Cruz of Denver, CO and Connie Martinez and her husband, Barney of Monte Aplanado, brothers-in-law, Ben Avila and his wife, Margie of Denver, CO and Moises Avila and his wife, Cora of Rawlings, WY and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Rosary services will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Mora, NM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. also at St. Gertrude Catholic Church with Father Dennis Dolter, SOLT as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Golondrinas Cemetery in Golondrinas, NM with the following serving as Casket Bearers, Daniel Jose Espinoza, Phillip V. Espinoza, Adam Weber, Charles Weber, Joe M. Weber, David Weber and Juan Weber.
