DEATH SUMMONS OTTO NICKISCH
Otto Nickisch, 2006 Thornton, died in a local hospital late Monday night following an extended illness.
Mr. Nickisch was born in England Nov. 26, 1917, and came to this country as a young man. He had been a resident of Butte for 28 Years.
A member of the Butte Teamsters Union, he had been employed as a laborer for the Penny and Judson Construction Co.
Survivors include his wife, Ina Gerthene; children, Ina Marlene, Beverly Ann, Barbara Jean, Terilyn Marie and Richard James; mother-in-law, Mrs. Fannie Jensen; brothers and sister-in-law, Irvin Nickisch and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Howell, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Sturgeon, all of Butte, and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Miller, Bozeman; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Altin Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Jensen, Butte, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Jensen, Silver Bow, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Jensen, Galen; uncles and aunts, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nickisch, Redfield, S.D., Mr. and Mrs. George Jensen, Williamsburg, and Mrs. Maria Kerns, Butte; numerous nephews and nieces.
The body is in the Wayrynen Funeral Home where the Rev. Elbert G. Harlow, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday.

Original date of birth marker fell off and was incorrectly replaced with marker seen in photograph. Family intends to correct this error in the future.
