She is survived three sons Larry Carter (Diane) of Dot, KY, David Carter (Janice) of Franklin, KY, and Ronald Carter (Jada) of Russellville, KY, two daughters Marilyn Stevens and Carolyn Gainous (Wayne) both of Adairville, KY, a brother James Delk of Adairville, KY, two sisters Betty Stratton and Emma Williams both of Franklin, KY, 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Vella Mae Carter will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday May 17, 2014 at the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Don Billingsley officiating; burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville. Visitation at the funeral home will be Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 2:00 P.M.
