CAMPAGNA, Patricia Ann

Patricia was born March 9, 1940, in San Francisco, CA. She passed away on May 13, 2014, in Roseville, CA.

Patricia had a catholic school education, attending St. Cecilia Grade School and Mercy High School in San Francisco. She graduated from Cal. State Hayward with a teaching degree in mathematics and a master's degree in education.

She was a working mother who took great pride in her family; together she and her husband Joseph raised 4 loving children while living in Fremont, for 27 years.

A math wizard, Patricia taught school at Newark High for 22 years before retiring to Roseville in 1997.

She loved living in Sun City Roseville for the last 17 years where she played golf, duplicate bridge, contributed her time at the on-sight library, volunteered at both Sutter and Kaiser local hospitals for 6 years.

She was a real 'wit' making comeback comments with her family and friends while maintaining a reserved disposition with all those that knew and loved her.

A real trooper in her fight to cure her Parkinson affliction for the last 8 years and Lung Cancer which was found the summer of 2013. She never complained of the pain and suffering she experienced always working toward an eventual cure with the help of Jesus her constant companion.

She was truly loved by her family, her many friends and especially her husband Joseph and will never be forgotten.

Patricia is survived by Joseph Campagna, her husband of 54 years; their children, Michael, Anthony, Nichola, and Douglas Campagna; grandchildren, Kelly, Michael, Theresa, Andrew, Kaitlynn, Lindsay, Jadon & Jacob Campagna, and Bryan and Melissa Goette; great grandchildren: Giovanni & Julianna.

Funeral Services to be held at St. Clare Catholic Church, 1950 Junction Blvd. in Roseville on Mon., May 19, with a Viewing at 9AM, Catholic Mass at 10AM, followed by a reception at Morris Hall (adjacent to the church).

Private Burial at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contribution can be made to the National Cancer Society for a cure for lung cancer.
