Mr. Abbatiello
Vincent (Jimmy) Abbatiello, 86, of 119 Olive St., died yesterday at his home after an extensive illness.
Mr. Abbatiello, who lived in Syracuse 68 years, was a native of Italy.
After 45 years of service with the Industrial Chemicals Division of the Allied Chemical Corp., he retired in 1950.
He was a member of the United Mine Workers, District 50, and a communicant of St. Brigid and St. Joseph Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Nicholas Iannuzzi; five sons, Joseph, James and Myron of Syracuse, Frank of Solvay, and Louis Abbatiello of Philadelphia, Pa.; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Brigid and St. Joseph Church where a solemn high Mass of requiem will be celebrated. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
