Services for Diane Burge Courbat, 34, of Waterloo, Iowa, formerly of Davenport, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Pentecostal Church of God and Christ in Davenport. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery in Davenport. Visitation will be noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the church. Nicholson Funeral Home, Rock Island, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Courbat died Aug. 6 at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City. Diane Burge married David Courbat in 1987 in Davenport. She enjoyed shooting pool, dancing, and spending time with her granddaughter. She was a former member of the church. [Diane was a foster care worker.]
Survivors include her husband; daughter Julie Burge of Waterloo; son David Sadtle of Rockford, Ill.; a granddaughter; sisters, Mary Ann Burge, Dessie Powell, Bessie Burge, Shirley Jean Middleton and Shirley Ann Walker, all of Davenport, and Katherine Williams of Starksville, Miss.; three stepsons; and her grandmother, Lillie Hill of Davenport.
[She was preceded in death by her mother, Bertha Burge.]
