Dorothy Moldenhauer, 84, nee Delz, of Fredericksburg, died Thursday, April 3, 2008, at Edgewater Care Center in Kerrville.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 5, at 2 p.m. in the Beckmann Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Vitek officiating.
Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation was held Friday evening, April 4, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Moldenhauer was born July 24, 1923, at Willow City, the daughter of Herman Delz and Olga Schmidt Delz. On Nov. 11, 1939, she married Lee Moldenhauer in San Antonio. He preceded her in death in 1995.
Mrs. Moldenhauer was a beautician for many years. She and her husband were also active with the Fredericksburg Volunteer Fire Department.
She is survived by two sons, one daughter and spouses, including Curtis and Iris Anne Moldenhauer of Plano; J.D. Moldenhauer of Fredericksburg, and Carol and Robbie Reeh of Harper.
Also surviving are five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Moldenhauer was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers, including Lucille Wilson, Ava Marie Clark, Ruby Thompson, James Delz and Floyd Delz.
