Missy Stone, age 44 of Morganfield, KY died Thurs. 5/8/2014 at her residence in Morganfield. She was a member of Sturgis Church of Christ. She received her Doctorate degree in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of Kentucky in 1996. She was a pharmacist at Methodist Hospital Union County. She was a devoted mother and enjoyed supporting her children in their various activities. She loved photography and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her father, John Carl Whitehead; grandparents, Carl and Rosa Kathleen Whitehead.

Funeral service will be 1PM Sat. 5/10/2014 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis, KY. Bro. Daniel Askew will officiate. Burial will be in Pythian Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8PM Fri. and 11AM until funeral time on Sat. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Union County Methodist Hospital Foundation.
