Andy retired from Union Carbide Corporation in 2000. He loved golfing with friends and was a member of the Carbide Golf Club. His hobbies were fixing things for family, and he always enjoyed traveling to new places. Home was always Clay County, that he loved so much.
Left to cherish his memories are wife Jean of South Charleston, sons, Michael of Wallback, Tom (Lisa) of St. Albans, daughter-in-law, Michelle Rogers of Coco, FL, grandchildren, Beth of Hurricane, Chase of St. Albans, Brittany of Coco, FL, Courtney of Dunbar, and great- grandson, Landon of Dunbar and sister, Jane (Kyle) Hall of New Smyrna Beach, FL.
Funeral service was held at noon on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Herb Vance officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Wallback.
