Susan was the daughter of John Lunsford and Mary "Polly" Sackville Hudson. She was the 7th of 16 children born to this couple. Imagine growing up in that house. I'm sure Susan had to take on many duties when her younger siblings arrived. She married Dr. Benjamin Franklin Cory and they had 4 children together.
