Randy was born on May 29, 1964 in Tiffin, to the late Irvin and Geraldean (Askam) Ward. He married Jodi Dewald and they later divorced and she survives.
Survivors include his three children, Brandon Dean (Tara Miller) Ward of Tiffin, Kristine Renee (Shaun Burgess) Ward of Tiffin, Kristopher Brad (Kayla Schindler) Ward of Tiffin, two grandchildren, Kurt Smith-Burgess, and Arianna Jordan-Schindler, two brothers, Tim (Mary Lou Hayes) Ward of Tiffin, and Doug Ward of KY. Randy is also survived by his loving adopted parents, Carol and Richard Poland of Willard.
Randy worked as a supervisor at the Mills Company in Upper Sandusky. He devoted his life to helping others, and was always giving to others, especially in setting an example for others to follow. He also was a Jack of all Trades. He was a hard worker in everything that he did and enjoyed listing to music and going on drives with his children. Randy was a 1982 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Gary, Lonnie, and Keith Ward, and a sister, Connie Vance.
A memorial service will take place at a later date. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is helping the family with their arrangements.
