WICKLIFFE, Ky., June 19 - John H. Gibson, 49, Wood Dale, lll., formerly of Kevil community, died Tuesday morning at Elgin, III., of injuries suffered in a fall Monday while working as a carpenter on a construction project.

Mr. Gibson was a former Paducah policeman. He was a veteran of World War II.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in Wood Dale, Moose Lodge 1535 of Downers Grove, Ill., Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion at Bensonville, Ill.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise Jett Gibson: three daughters, Mrs. Judy Klankey and Misses Phyllis and Johnnie Gibson, all of Wood Dale; a son, Daniel Gibson of Wood Dale; two sisters, Mrs Pernie Grief of Addison, Ill., and Mrs. Martha Myers of Kevil Rt. 2; three brothers, James Gibson of Kevil, Moss Gibson of Kevil Rt. 2, and Maurice Gibson of Kevil Rt. 4; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Milner-Phillips Funeral Home here with the Rev. Floyd Sheeks and the Rev. Harold Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ballard County,
