Mark Lee Browning, 37, died suddenly May 10, 2014.

Mark was born May 30, 1976, on Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas. Later that year, he moved to Myrtle Beach with his family.

He graduated from Socastee High School and earned a BS in Chemistry from Coastal Carolina University and a BS in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from Rutgers University.

He worked as a Research Scientist for a Biotech Company in New Brunswick, NJ. He loved God and being a father first and foremost. He also enjoyed surfing, nature, playing his guitars, writing and singing songs, riding his Harley, and spending time with family and friends. He never met a stranger and lived life to the fullest. He attended Christ United Methodist Church in Myrtle Beach.

Mark was survived by a son, Jacob Browning of East Brunswick, NJ, and a daughter, Sarah Lutze of Flint, MI; his mother, Jannie (Randy) Hardee of Myrtle Beach and Kenny Browning of Red Boiling Springs, TN; grandparents Rose Browning of Red Boiling Springs, TN, and James Wilson of Sparta, TN; siblings Katina Corrigan (Shawn) and Corey Hardee (Sydney), both of Myrtle Beach, and Brandy Browning of Murfreesboro, TN; and nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many other family and friends.

He was predeceased by his grandfather Thomas Browning and his grandmother Lucy Wilson.

Funeral services were Thursday, May 15, 2014, in Myrtle Beach Funeral Home. Pastor John Rea of Legacy Church officiated. Burial, directed by Myrtle Beach Funeral Home, followed in Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery.
