SOUTH JORDAN--Steven Young, 42, died October 28, 1993 of a heart attack.

Born April 19, 1951 in Murray, Utah to Reid W. and Sylvia Louise Probst Young. Married Mary Davee in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on August 1, 1983. Steve was a computer technician for the Jordan School District.

He attended schools in the Salt Lake area and served an LDS mission to Canada. He was currently serving as Second Counselor in the Parkway 8th LDS Ward Bishopric.

Survivors: wife, Mary; daughters, Molly, Allison, Elizabeth, Melanie, all South Jordan; father, Reid, Sandy; brothers, Bob, Salt Lake City; Jim, Salem, Oregon; and Mike of Sandy.

Preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 1, 1993, at 11:00 a.m. in the Parkway 8th LDS Ward Chapel 11250 South 2700 West. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State St., Midvale, Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
