His wife of 46 years, Kathleen (Maloney) Churchill, died December 11, 2013.
Mr. Churchill leaves two sons, Timothy K. Churchill of Shirley, Keith J. Churchill of Gardner; two daughters, Robin J. Terhune of Shirley, Betsy A. Gabardi of Wilmington; two brothers, Brian Churchill of Wilmington, Neil Churchill of Medford; a sister, Gail Wallace of Medford and eleven grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Karen R. Churchill in 2012.
Mr. Churchill was born in Colrain, August 10, 1939, a son of Robert and Isabel (Gilchrest) Churchill and resided there before moving to Medford at an early age.
A 1957 graduate of Medford High School, Mr. Churchill continued his education at an electronic radio technical school. For over thirty years, he worked as a field service engineer at GenRad Corporation in Concord, retiring in 2001.
He enjoyed bird watching, going for walks and working around his home. He and his wife especially enjoyed riding their Honda Gold Wing Motorcycle. Perhaps his greatest joy was being with his children and grandchildren at their lakefront home.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 14th, at The Shirley Meeting House, On the Common, Shirley Center. For directions go to www.shirleymeetinghouse.org.
Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
