ZACHARIA - A. L. Zacharia, D. D. S., 66, 811 Pine Valley Drive, died at 7:10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, 1969 in DePaul Hospital, St. Louis, Mo., after a brief illness. Born Nov. 11, 1902, in Bologna, Italy, son of Gaetano and Elisa Cacharia. Lived 44 years in Rockford, coming here from Cherry. Married to the former Nora Civello in Dallas, Texas, July 7, 1940. Employed as a dentist for 41 years. Veteran of World War II serving as a Lt. Colonel in the Army.

Member of the Masonic Lodge, Freeport Consistory and the Tebala Temple, the Elks Club and the Cavour Club. He was past president Winnebago County Dentists Association. Graduated from the University of Illinois in 1928.

Survivors include his widow, Nora, and a daughter, Mrs. Gerald Lindmark, Rockford; two grandsons Gregory and Bradley; a sister, Mrs. Frank Maragi; and a brother, Anthony, and several nieces and nephews.

Services at 11 a.m. Monday in Gasparini and Oliveri Funeral Home, 707 Marchesano Drive. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
