Dennis Edward Keenan, Sr., age 62 of Malvern, died unexpectedly on Monday morning, May 12, 2014 in the Baptist Health Medical Center in Malvern. He was born in Denver, Colorado on August 18, 1951 to Waldo Russell Keenan and the late Leila Marie Gallegos Keenan. Reared and educated in Colorado, he had been a resident of Malvern since 1980. Dennis retired from Pactiv as a Process Tech, after 34 years with the company. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church, where he had taught Sunday School. Dennis loved to garden and to play golf. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Galloway Keenan, to whom he was married on Friday, December 13, 1974 in Golden, Colorado; by his daughter, Dedi Keenan Thorne (Daniel) of Carleton, Michigan, his son D. J. Keenan (Deanna) of Malvern; his brothers, Russ Keenan (Joyce) of Dallas, Mike Keenan (Bev) of Lakewood, Colorado; his sisters, Tine West of Aurora, Colorado, Mona Rickerson (Richard) of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and Juanita Keenan Ward (Roger) of Poncha Springs, Colorado; his father, Waldo Keenan of Aurora, Colorado; and eight grandchildren, Drew and Derek Mason, Dylan Hart, Matthew, Micheal, Cheyenne, Marshal, and Jillian Keenan.
