Gary D. Hensley, 61, of West Allens Bridge Road, Greeneville, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

He was a former employee of Formex.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Jason and Chelsey Hensley of Rogersville; a special granddaughter: Mollie Ray Hensley; special uncle: Dale Ottinger of Greeneville; and many cousins, whom he loved dearly.

He was the son of the late Curtis and Euretha Ottinger Hensley and was preceded in death by a son: Jonathan Wayne Hensley; and his grandparents: Denny Herman Hensley, Mary Bass Hensley, Clarence Ottinger and Elsie Ottinger.

There will be no formal visitation.

A graveside service will be held at 11am Tuesday at St. James Cemetery with Rev. Charles Linton officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Michael Reed, Robert Reed, Kreston Seaton, Kevin Seaton, Orville Lee Gosnell, and Dave Neas.
