Ralph Aaron Noll passed May 10, 2014. He was born in Emmaus, PA on August 30, 1927 to George T. and Sally Noll. Ralph served in the Home Guard with his father for two years, then his mother signed for him to enter the Navy at 17. After his enlistment he finished his term and then joined the Army. He completed his term in the Army and then joined the Air force. While a Sgt. in Lubbock, TX he met and married the love of his life, Vernie. The Air Force assigned Ralph to San Antonio in 1964, so he, his wife and daughter Pam moved there. After retiring from the Air Force in 1967, Ralph went to St. Mary's University, where he earned his Bachelors with a major in Kinesiology, a minor in History and his teaching certificate in 1970. After completing his college he taught US History and refereed football, basketball and umpired baseball. Ralph retired from teaching, but continued to referee football, basketball and umpire baseball for many years. He and his wife ventured into entrepreneurship for some time and owned Dial-a-gift of San Antonio. He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Vernie; brothers, Ernest, Norman, Earl and sister, Pauline. He is survived by his only daughter Pam (Steve) Peterson, only grandchild, Christy (Dale) Williamson and three great grandchildren, Paige, Gavin and Holden. Ralph is also survived by nieces and nephews; godchildren, Becky (Brian) Judis, Brian (Blyth) Treuhaft and friends tied by heart strings, Marty and Judy Treuhaft. Ralph was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He leaves us with many memories.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North on Thursday, May 15, 2014. Graveside services will be held at 9:30 AM on Friday, May 16, 2014 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with Pastor Billy Morse to officiate.
