Aubrey M. Reynolds, age 88, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014, at the Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, Missouri. He was born in a boxcar at a logging camp near Ingalls, Arkansas, on January 23, 1926, the son of Preston and Neva Whittington Reynolds. His father was a logger and his mother cooked at the camp.

He grew up around Bastrop, Louisiana, and one of his first jobs was carrying ice on his back to people from the ice wagon. He had also worked at a paper mill and entered the military, but was discharged for medical reasons. He moved to Kansas City, Missouri to find work and got on with the Carpenter's Union where he was a foundation man, a job he would work until his retirement. In May of 1954, he was united in marriage to Ruth Fewell in Kansas City and they continued to reside there and raise their family.

He retired from the Carpenter's Union in 1988 and they moved to Warsaw, Missouri, so he could pursue his pastime of hunting and fishing. He liked to remain active and at the age of 84, he got a bicycle to ride along the bike trails on both sides of the Osage River in Warsaw. He continued bicycling until shortly before his death.

Aubrey was preceded in death by his beloved wife Ruth in December of 2012. Also preceding him were his parents, 2 brothers, Claude and Pat Reynolds, and one sister, Mary Bennett
