Our beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Amy Louise Quinton, passed away August 3rd, 1999 at the age of 22.

Born April 16, 1977 in Seattle, Washington to Garry and Judy Quinton, Amy was welcomed to life by her five older brothers and an older sister.

As a child, Amy's sense of humor, sharp wit and fierce determination to succeed in all that she did began to develop and grow. The fruition of her efforts and goals sprung forth during her years as a student at Meadowdale High School, in Lynnwood, Washington. Each year in school she pursued her athletic interests in the form of volleyball and track, activities which she greatly loved. Her high school senior year stands as a wonderful tribute to a life so rich in aptitude and promise.

Amy began her college career on an academic scholarship at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City where she intended to study biology, but instead followed her heart and pursued her love for theater and the stage, earning her degree in Theater this summer. Amy can be described as someone who loved her friends and family unconditionally and as a person who was a special part of so many people's lives. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but she left behind a legacy which will continue to touch those who knew her, for which we can be forever grateful.

She is survived by her parents, Garry and Judy Quinton, of Sandy, Utah; her brothers, sister and their families, Bryan and Deborah Quinton, of Lacey, WA; Brent and Marilee Quinton and their three sons, Bryce, Brady and Branden of Marysville, WA; Bruce and Kim Quinton, and their five children, Andrew, Derek, Ashley, Dallin and Kyle of Green River, UT; Scott and Jennifer Quinton and their two sons, Joshua and Alexander of Nampa, ID; Steve and Becky Quinton and their daughter, Samantha of Taylorsville, UT; and her sister, Shari and Stephen Bridge and their son, Isaac of Menlo Park, CA. She also leaves behind a grandfather, aunts, uncles, and cousins along with all of her friends. God bless Amy.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 6, 1999 at 1 p.m. at the Union 5th Ward, 7784 South 2000 East, Sandy, Utah. A viewing will be held Thursday evening at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, SLC, from 6-8 p.m. and Friday at the ward from 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m. prior to services.

Due to the overwhelming amount of inquiries from friends, coworkers and associates, Architectural Design West, Inc., in conjunction with the Quinton Family, have set up a memorial fund in Amy's name. Those wishing to contribute may do so at any Key Bank branch office, care of the Amy Quinton Memorial Fund.
