Mr. Charlie Jeff Collins, age 75, of 1391 County Road 31, Muscadine, AL, passed away July 25, 2009.
Mr. Collins was born July 5, 1934, in Heard County to the late A. J. and Mattie Mae Dodson Collins.
Mr. Collins was a retired watch/clock repairman, an historian, and a member of the Sons of the Confederate Veterans #673.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Wanda Kay Holcombe Collins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 3:00 PM EST from Outreach Tabernacle with Rev. Paul Ingebrigtsen and Rev. Rouzelle Sanders officiating. Music will be provided by Jamie Daniel, Jessica Sanders, and the Outreach Quartet.
Pallbearers serving will be Rudy Robinson, Jeremy Smith, Jimmy Cash, Royce Kilgore, and Curtis Hamrick.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lowell Sanders, Emory Earnest, Lane Kilgore, Ronnie Robinson, James Garner, and Talmadge Allred.
Interment will follow in Mars Hill Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, July 27 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM EST.
