Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL. Burial will be 1 P.M. Monday, May 19, 2014 at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield, IL

Christy was born June 30, 1960 in Clinton, IL the daughter of William and Glenda (Hearon) North. She married Kevin Owen May 12, 1999 in Lincoln, IL.
Survivors include her husband: Kevin Owen, Clinton, IL; parents: William and Glenda North, Clinton, IL; Children: Kendall Owen, Clinton, IL and Brandon Thomas, CA; sister: Beth Wade, Maroa, IL.
She was preceded in death by her daughter: Brooke Thomas in 1976, maternal and paternal grandparents.
Christy was and LPN for over 20 years. She loved her cats: Dusty and Jasmine and her dog: Cupcake.
