Stella Howlett Presque Isle 85. Wife of the late Elmer Howlett, died at her home in Presque Isle 9-21-1992. She was born in Castle Hill 5-15-1907 the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Dean) Higgins. She is survived by a son, Darrell Higgins and a foster granddaughter, Lavinia Joy Howlett, both of Presque Isle, 2 sisters, Edna Ayotte of Mars Hill and Mabel Kennedy of Caribou, 7 step children, Jean Kane of Surry, Winston Howlett of Easton, Phyllis Sullivan of Orono, Bernard Howlett of Presque Isle, Harold Howlett of Mars Hill, Lorraine Daggett of Guilford, Ronald Howlett of New York, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Burial Fairmount cemetery.
