CINCINNATI — Wesley A. "White Horse" Curd, 81, a former Glasgow resident, died Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, in Cincinnati after an extended illness. Mr. Curd was retired from Queen City Railroad of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the son of the late Garnett and Addie Barber Curd. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Dorothy; eight children: Linda Hayes (Sammy), Brenda Depp (Anthony), Connie White, Danny Curd (Debra), Marcella Hawkins, Michael Curd, Larry Curd (Laverne) and Jeffery Curd (Cheryl); one brother: Jessie Curd (Patricia); one sister: Elnora Harriford (the Rev. Henry); and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Three brothers and six sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept.13, 2008, at Harlow's Chapel Baptist Church in Barren County with burial in the Barber Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 1 p.m. until time for the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker Funeral Home in Mt. Healthy, Ohio, and A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home in Glasgow.
