Mr. Willis was a member of Arapahoe Free Will Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army.
He owned and operated the Clover Farm in Oriental as well as D.C. Crab Co., Aurora. Morris was a devoted family man.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Annie Grant Willis; two daughters, Deborah Willis Fulcher and husband, Chris, of Oriental and Angela Willis Mumper and husband, Dan, of Oriental; three grandchildren, Christina Fulcher Cahoon and husband, Ryan, Chaz Fulcher and D.J. Mumper, all of Oriental; and two great-grandchildren, Chasity Fulcher and Braxton Cahoon.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lockwood Willis and Lloyd Willis and two sisters, Bonnie Humphrey and Sina Mayo, all of Pamlico County.
His funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 30 at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Bryan officiating. Interment will be in Greenleaf Memorial Park, New Bern.
