Surviving: wife, Laura Walsh Shank; daughters, Helen Fox of Eleanor, Beulah Mae "Bootie" Parsons of Midway, W.Va.; sons, Charles Shank of St. Albans, Jackie M. Shank of Winfield; sisters, Zelma Adamson of Jackson, Ohio, Helen Turey of Florida; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Gatens Funeral Home, Poca, W.Va., with the Rev. W. David Lett officiating. Burial will be in Schowen Cemetery, Bancroft. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
