1957 ~ 2013
Lynn Forsyth Gardner, 55, dearly loved son, brother, dad, husband, uncle, grandfather and friend concluded his long and courageous battle with cancer on March 24, 2013.
He was born August 25, 1957 to R. Keith Gardner and Suzanne Forsyth Gardner in Salt Lake City. Lynn Married Suzanne Silotti in 1975 they had two children together and later divorced. In 1985 Lynn Married Kelly King and together raised her two daughters for over 14 years. He was a master plumber and general contractor for many years. He loved the outdoors and was an avid bird hunter! He also loved his dogs and would take them everywhere he went.
He is survived by his wife Lori Gardner of seven years.
His children Jamie Holtry (Tony), Calahan Gardner; step children Angie Thompson, Amber Pace (Lonnie), Charie Whitus (Brad), Jori Stewart (Tiffany), Vanitee Stewart; step mother Linda Gardner, brothers and sisters, Terri Freeman, Wendi McFadden (Richard) Brent Gardner (Rhonda),Ryan Gardner (Kayla);and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends whom he loved with all his being.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
We would like to express our utmost gratitude to the Huntsman Cancer Institute and Nicole Orgain for all of their support during this battle and to Harmony Hospice for all of their loving care and guidance.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Lynn's name to the cancer research Foundation. In accordance with Lynn's final wishes his body will be donated to the University of Utah research department to help in the ongoing battle to cure cancer. The Family will be having a Celebration of Lynn's life at a later date.
