Alma Francis Bernier, age 92, of Mt. Airy, Md., died Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Carroll Hospice-Dove House in Westminster, Md.

She was born Nov. 3, 1921, in Rockbridge Baths, the daughter of the late Jessie Frankling Little and the late Susie Ethel Miller Little.

She was the former wife of the late Jean Paul Bernier.

She was the beloved mother of Roxanna Lowery of Mt. Airy, Anthony Bernier of Rehoboth Beach, Del., and Rita Weiner of Elkridge, Md.

She was survived by four loving grandchildren, Chad Weiner, Jason Lowery, David Weiner and Jacob Bernier; four loving greatgrandchildren, Christopher Weiner, Garrett Lowery, Wyatt Weiner and Emmerson Lowery; two sisters and one brother; predeceased by five siblings.

Services were private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in the loving memory of Alma F. Bernier to the Carroll Hospice, Inc.-Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave, Westminster, MD 21157.
