Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the La Center Evangelical Free Church for Mrs. Mattie S. Amidon, 80, who died in Vancouver Dec. 12. She had been a long-time resident of La Center. The Rev. H.A. Wanvig will officiate at the service, assisted by the Rev. Carl Sundholm, with interment in the La Center Cemetery. Vancouver Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Amidon is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was born July 3, 1881 in Iowa. She was a member of the Evangelical Free Church.
