HISTORY: Mrs. Starling was born in Bennettsville, SC a daughter of the late Marvin "Son" Haithcock, Jr. and Margaret Louise Freeman Haithcock. She was a former employee of Cheraw Yarn Mill with 30 years of service. Mrs. Starling was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies. In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin D. "Buck" Starling; 1 son, Franklin Delnore Starling, Jr.; 1 daughter, Sandra Lynne Atkinson.
