Martha M. Bergelin, age 78, of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at her residence.
Martha was born April 15, 1936 in the town of Maple Grove, Manitowoc County. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Martha Seidel Maas. Martha was a member of Lakeshore United Methodist Church and was a volunteer for St. Vincent DePaul Society for over 14 years.
She is survived by her daughter: Debra Bergelin, Two Rivers, WI; one brother: Albert Maas, Manitowoc; three sisters: Emma (Gordon) Nooker, Two Rivers, WI; Laura Kosterwski, Manitowoc; Malinda Maas, Two Rivers, WI; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Martha Maas; three brothers: Russell, Gerhardt, and Herbert Maas; two sisters: Evelyn Johnson and Tillie Spatchek along with other family members.
Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating will be Rev. Nancy Dvorachek with burial to follow at the Lark Emmanuel Cemetery in the town of Morrison, Brown County.. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services at 7:00 p.m. Following the services there will be hors d'oeuvres and refreshments for relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home.
